Luxury sedans are becoming more common on the road as manufacturers are leaning toward making them accessible for the masses. Long gone are the days of only being able to dream about owning a genuine luxury vehicle as this list contains some options for those who want to get a little style and comfort with their hard-earned money.
There are options for those who want a smooth ride, plenty of space, great build quality, and even a little speed. Below are some great all-round luxury vehicles and some of the best entry-level options on the market today.
10 Infiniti Q50
The Infiniti Q50 is an excellent choice for someone looking to take their first foray into luxury vehicle ownership. With sleek executive looks, powerful engine options, and a low price, there's almost nothing to dislike about the Q50.
It certainly looks much more expensive than it actually is with chrome trim and luxury interior, you could be forgiven for thinking it costs double the asking price. The engines available are two twin-turbo V6s boasting 300 and 400 hp respectively. The smooth and comfortable ride is perhaps the best feature of the Q50 making it a great choice at just over $37,000.
9 Genesis G70
Genesis isn't quite the biggest name in the luxury car industry, but this leaves the G70 somewhat underrated, especially given the retail price.
Again, the looks of the G70 are frankly remarkable with a more than luxurious looking Bentley-like front grille and plenty of chrome detailing and vents making it a thinking man's Mercedes-Benz. Its reliability and choice of two engines ranging from a 2.0-liter inline-four and a 3.3-liter V6 make it an awesome choice as a luxury vehicle. At the very least, it'll fool your friends into thinking it costs much more than the $37,000 asking price.
8 BMW 3-Series
BMW is one of the greats when it comes to making high-quality luxury sports cars and one of the best in the lineup comes in the form of the BMW 3 Series.
This long-running line of cars provides plenty of sports power and handling whilst maintaining the high-quality build expected from this veteran manufacturer. If you're looking for a car that can do everything, there's little point in looking further. Brand new 3 Series BMW models begin at slightly over $41,000 and for an extra $1,000, you can even get the equivalent 330i as an electric vehicle.
7 Jaguar XF
One manufacturer that simply doesn't make bad or cheap cars is Jaguar. The Legendary British brand still however manages to squeeze an incredible level of quality into a car costing less than $44,000.
The XF has an exquisitely designed interior and a stylish exterior, yet the low asking price leaves us asking why this is such a bargain. Sure it doesn't have the power of some other cars in this list but no one will care once you see the level of detail in the interior with a host of driver assistance features and tech to make even cars at twice the price look inferior. If quality and build is top priority, the XF is a no-brainer.
6 Lexus IS
As for attention to detail, little comes close to Lexus with superior levels of build quality and value for money. The IS series is a model which can rival even higher spec BMW and Mercedes vehicles making for an excellent deal.
The IS's sporty styling is aggressive and puts a lot of its German rivals to shame. The high-quality interior is more excellent, with a variety of tech options to make the cabin very welcoming indeed. Perhaps the IS's biggest selling point is that for an extra $4,000 or so, you can get the top-of-the-line IS 350 F Sport at $42,950. Bear in mind that this is barely more expensive than the 3 Series and even slightly cheaper than the XF with a 311 hp V6 that is sure to excite. If you're looking for a little speed with your luxury, the IS may be the best choice.
5 Mercedes A-Class
Mercedes are masters at making Luxury vehicles and are the most obvious choice when it comes to choosing a luxury sedan or even a luxury SUV.
This storied history means that even their lower-end models get some luxury treatment. The A-Class sedan is given a high quality and sporty-looking interior with more than enough tech options to make for a pleasant experience. The smooth ride and general high quality make the A-Class simply feel like a smaller Mercedes than the more expensive options, rather than a model that's inferior. At a touch over $33,000, the Mercedes is surprisingly one of the cheaper cars on this list despite the badge on the front.
4 Maserati Ghibli
As one of the hallmarks of Italian style, the aggressive sports styling of the Maserati Ghibli makes it a luxury vehicle with a bit of edge.
It's for sure one of the more expensive vehicles on this list, but as for value, there is little to say that the Maserati isn't worth the money. The 345 hp V6 sounds exceptional and provides perhaps the best performance on this list and the high-quality leather interior ensures the occupants have plenty of comfort. The large infotainment screen and safety features make the Maserati one of the most technologically advanced on the list, too, even coming with its own phone app. Overall, the Ghibli does almost nothing wrong.
3 Cadillac CT4
Champions of the large American cruiser, Cadillac have been hard at work improving on their already popular formula for their sedan lineup.
The CT4 is much more refined than previous models both inside and out, helping it give the Europeans a run for their money. Naturally, it isn't starved in the power department either with a particularly powerful 2.7-liter, 307 hp in-line four. Look forward to a smooth ride and plenty of storage space if you opt for the CT4 with cool and sleek styling on the outside. The Cadillac is quality throughout and best of all, it costs around $34,000.
2 Audi Q3
The Q3 is the perfect option for those who need a little extra space or for those who plan to venture off-road.
As an SUV, the Q3 is as capable on the road as it is off with plenty of cargo space too, making it perfect for families with an eye for luxury. The tech and expectedly high Audi quality interior make it one of the best cars to live with on this list, despite being the baby in the Q series. The Q3 is available for around $34,000.
1 Alfa Romeo Giulia
The Alfa Giulia is truly style in machine form. It is often considered one of the best-looking cars not only in the luxury sedan category but of any car on the road today.
But there's substance to this style too with a 280 hp turbocharged engine, available in both RWD and AWD, and a modern and high-tech interior with unmistakable Italian styling. The Giulia has a range of safety options, making it a great all-rounder at only $41,000.
